This website was prepared and updated by Civil Society Groups and friends in West Bengal, India. Thanks also to all those colleagues and friends who have worked with and for the children of West Bengal’s brick kilns during the last 10 years. There is some progress!
Please send information and images concerning the brick industry and projects and campaigns around it, for all the countries of South Asia. When refering to a 'project' please mention the duration. When it is concluded please send a brief report.
Please always give a date and a source, and if possible a website address. Material in a South Asian language and script can be published if it arrives in PDF format and with a translation into English.
